It sure did rest in peace ππ

So did the lady that was killed but not one standing up for her. And all the babies no one cares for them this is joke.
Being on the receiving end of someone's distorted perception is an insidious form of abuse. Can you relate?Yep. ... See MoreSee Less
True that!
Yes
Powerful
There's nothing like the feeling you getβin body, mind & spiritβ after moving your body, right? Whether it's jogging on a treadmill, taking a yoga class, strength training or enjoying a simple walk, your body LOVES to move.
After I exercise, I literally feel my cells sparkle with joy.
Yesterday was yoga and weights (I bought some dumbbells last year after my gym closed due to Covidβbest investment ever), and today I'll use my rowing machine.
What about you?

Yesterday I hiked a mountain in NH in the snow with friends - VERY sore today but happy.
You often read about "emotional triggers" as leading to impulsive behaviors such as compulsive eating, angry overreactions or retreating within yourself. Equally important, are your Happiness Triggers.
Happiness triggers can calm your nervous system, uplift your energy and mood and spark joy in your daily life. Here are some of my Happiness Triggers:
The smell and taste of my morning coffee.
Hiking in the woods. (And hugging trees.)
The feel of knitting needles and yarn weaving through my fingers.
Getting absorbed in a good book.
The zen and satisfaction of working a jigsaw puzzle and putting that piece in just the right place.
Sipping peppermint tea, especially on a rainy day.
Organizing my drawers and shelves.
What are your Happiness Triggers?
(Thank you to Happiness Triggers for posting this meme!)

Something we often forget! Thanks for sharing this post Dianeπ
Neet to keep these happiness triggers and think of some more as I enter into a new life stage of "retiree". I'll be retiring from Brown U after 30 years and I loved my job ... sometimes I loved it too much. But it's a new life stage with new opportunities to do the things that I value and that authenticate me as a person. And it's exciting!
Taking a walk
I would add being in nature π€
