What would your life be like if you could:
The Wise Woman Weight Release program is designed to help you release weight and keep it off forever by connecting with your inner wisdom. You’ll discover the strength and strategies you need to overcome emotional eating whenever the urge to eat strikes.
Wise Woman Weight Release: Your True Path to Become -hinner Forever is the only weight-release program that shows you how to connect with your inner guide — a guide who will help you customize and create a personal plan for success.
Every day, commercials, books, magazines, and other people, tell you that that if you simply follow a certain regimen you’ll lose weight and keep it off. But (obviously) it’s not just about that.
Wise Woman Weight Release gives you the tools to do just that.
I’m a licensed psychotherapist and life coach. I have helped thousands of people transform their lives for over twenty-five years. Using a mind/body and meta-physical approach, I integrate life coaching with psychology and spirituality. I teach my clients how to use visualization, meditation and affirmations, and how to become open to forgiveness and the power of positive thought for empowered healing and lasting change.
The Wise Woman Weight Release program was born out of a process I use to connect with my inner wisdom and guidance. I first met my own Wise Self a decade ago, during a training in which the instructor led a visualization process similar to the one I created for this program. When I began to routinely use this process with my clients, the results were profound. I have adapted it to help my clients overcome emotional eating, release weight, and request guidance in a multitude of other life issues and goals. I’m passionate about sharing this process so as many people as possible can experience greater peace of mind and freedom from the cycle of overeating they’ve been stuck in.
There is Divine power and energy within all of us. People refer to it in different ways: the Inner Advisor, Spiritual Guide, Higher Self, or Divine Light. I like to call it my Wise Self. Like an imaginary friend to a child, she is my mentor, someone I call forth in my mind—a strong, down-to-earth woman who is wise and loving and whose guidance is always available when I ask. I connect with her regularly. When I first met my Wise Self, she gave me a rock and told me to have faith as enduring as stone to help me deal with some problems I faced at the time. Those words continue to ground me.
My Wise Self helps me stay healthy, spiritually aware and confident. She is my beloved guide.
Through this program you’ll find your guide as well, someone to stand beside you and help you release weight, end emotional eating and learn to trust that you have all the wisdom and answers you need right inside of you.
Please Note: This is a downloadable program consisting of ebooks and MP3 audio downloads. You will NOT receive a physical product in the mail. After ordering, you will be able to immediately download all of the program files and bonuses. You won’t find Wise Woman Weight Release in stores; it’s only available through this website.

Happy Birthday... to me!
I'm 65 years strong today and SO excited about what I'm doing this week to honor my body for all the years it has served me.
When I was in my 20s, I set a goal of doing a physical activity for every "big" birthday. I ran marathons when I turned 30, 40 and 50. Five years ago when I turned 60, I hiked up Mount Washington with my husband.
When we finished the fairly strenuous hike, Carl said "That was great and everything, but next time can you just be like other woman and go to a spa?" 🤣
Well... nothing against spas (I love them!) but that's not the point of how I celebrate my big birthdays. Doing a physical activity helps me feel strong and healthy. I don't see myself getting older. I see myself getting bolder. And better. And wiser.
Since I'm now 65 and Medicare age (Finally, affordable healthcare!), I decided to spice up the upcoming decades and do a physical activity every five years.
So starting tomorrow morning Carl (he's such a good sport) and I are hiking the length of Rhode Island. (I know. It's the smallest state, but still.) The North-South Trail starts at the border of RI/MA and ends at the ocean in southern RI. The trail is 78 miles + three miles to access the start = 81 miles. We'll be hiking an average of 13 to 16 miles each day for six days and stay in B&Bs along the way. I'm so excited!
And, mostly, to my body... I'm grateful that you've been my loyal home for these past 65 years. I wouldn't be on this earth without you. 🙏 ... See MoreSee Less

Were you sexually abused as a child and struggle with emotional eating and weight issues today? Here's why I'm asking:
Earlier in my career, I specialized in working with sexually traumatized children and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. It was then that I learned the connection between early sexual victimization and later emotional eating, body image concerns and weight gain.
If you can relate, I want you to know that you are not alone.
Research shows that people who experienced physical or sexual abuse in childhood are twice as likely to have a food addiction than people who were not abused as children.
Childhood sexual abuse victims face unique body image challenges because their body boundary was broken in a confusing and fundamental way. Emotional eating and weight gain became a resourceful solution to feel emotionally safe and protected. Contrary to mainstream opinion, this is not due to a lack of willpower. Most likely, somewhere deep inside they (and perhaps you) are simply afraid.
I've written a free eBook: Shed Your Pounds of Protection: 7 Powerful Weight-Loss Tools Designed Especially for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. It includes information about how the traumatized brain reacts to emotional eating triggers and ways to feel emotionally safe and grounded. I'll post the link in the comment section below.
To your health and happiness. Warmly, Diane ... See MoreSee Less
You are such a wonderful person by reaching g out to people in so many ways!
Thank you for this! I need to dive into it again as I've found myself retreating to old addictive eating habits during this pandemic. I've gained 21 lbs and am becoming self-critical again. I simply adore you and your important work 💗
Wonderful offer 😍
Would love a copy
If every child and teenager learned about mental health issues, we would eliminate (or at least lessen) the stigma, identify problems and offer interventions earlier, and create a more emotionally healthy society.
What do you think? Do you know of schools that teach this?
#mentalhealthawarenessGood idea? Why or why not? ... See MoreSee Less
My girls’ middle and high schools have required health classes that teach this. Just last night, Noni was researching a celebrity who had struggled with anxiety, as a class assignment. Their middle school health class is really well done. So important!
This memory showed up on my feed. Have faith and trust. 💛For those in the United States and Canada, Happy Labor Day weekend!
Speaking of work... and miracles, I want to share with you the frustrating—and blessed—circumstances of how I started my career.
After I got my master’s degree in social work, it took me forever to find a job. Months passed. My friends were getting jobs. I kept getting rejections. I got lots of interviews because my resume was great: Good schools, clinical internships from world-renowned institutions, years of volunteer experience starting from when I was in high school, stellar recommendations.
But no job offers.
I had been a great student and social work intern, but was terrible at interviews. When it came to putting myself out there in the real world, I felt anxious and lacked confidence. But I plodded on, interview after interview.
The worst was a job opening in a mental health center in Boston’s North End. The Italian section, mind you. I’m first generation Italian, speak Italian moderately well and know the culture. I thought I was the perfect candidate. Nope. Another rejection. But the kicker was that my roommate (my roommate!) got the job. Her English roots never touched Italian soil! (She was wonderful about it by the way, but it hurt terribly.)
I felt depressed and demoralized... and plodded on.
Finally, after almost a year (a year!) of surviving on savings and temp jobs (remember Kelly girls?), I got a position in the outpatient department of a child psychiatric hospital working with abused and neglected children. I loved this job!
One month later, I was laid off.
Ugh! This was a federally funded program and the money was cut. It was beyond disappointing. I thought I was cursed and destined to never find professional work.
But I plodded on… and started looking for another job, again.
Then, things shifted. Right before the month was up, the hospital agreed to fund the program, but on a smaller scale. The decision was made to focus only on sexual abuse rather than all forms of child abuse. So I began developing the first sexual abuse treatment program in Rhode Island.
About a year later the hospital decided to end the program. Another huge disappointment. But the Director and I were passionate about what we created—and there was a HUGE need for this work. So we left the hospital and started our own center. It was scary—no income for six months and I depleted more savings—but I wouldn't let anything stop me from doing the work I loved to do. Without going into any more detail (thank you for following this far!), that long drawn-out, demoralizing road to land a job led me to the exact place I needed to be. I became self-employed doing work I loved and never again had to look for another job.
Reflecting on that year of unemployment hell, I wish I hadn't let fear and anxiety hijack my mind. I wish I had been patient and confident to believe that the right job was coming at the right time. I wish I had felt secure trusting that the Universe had my back and loved me so much that all along was lining things up on my behalf.
But what I didn’t know then, I know now. I’ve come to learn that sometimes the more outrageous and awry life seems, the more the Universe is steadfastly arranging the pieces for our highest and best good.
I’m taking time off this long holiday weekend and will see you next week. In the meantime, I hope my story helps you trust that, no matter what challenges you're facing right now, you can relax, have patience and trust that everything is working out the way it’s supposed to.

You are an inspiration and hope to all of us and your kindness and compassion shines with your gentle grace
Thanks I needed that. I trust it’s all lining up - ♥️🤗🙏🏻
I work with many people who want to release weight. Does this apply to you, too?
If so, change your mindset. Instead of focusing on the "problem" of "losing weight," shift your attention. Focus your mind—and heart—on experiencing the joy and pleasure of giving your body what it needs to thrive. For example, appreciate the simple steps of taking a ten-minute walk, eating a handful of plump blueberries or drinking a tall glass of water simply because it's good for your body. Whatever it is that gives your body health and vitality, focus your mind on that. This suggestion will help: ... See MoreSee Less
